What is a flexible workspace?

A flexible workspace is where a workplace offers a number of different types of spaces where people can choose to work. They can choose based on the type of work they might be doing, individual concentration vs collaboration for example. A good, flexible workplace may have a variety of private meeting rooms, desks for heads-down work, and breakout areas for ad hoc collaboration, giving employees an array of options to feel comfortable and productive.
